Raymond Franklin White, 82, of Crozet, Virginia, passed away on February 27, 2026. He was born on June 6, 1943.
In his younger years, Raymond enjoyed walking the roads of Crozet, often stopping to talk with neighbors and brighten their day with his easy smile and gentle humor. As he grew older, he found joy in traveling, taking trips and cruises with his nephew Ronald and Tammy—experiences that brought him great happiness and allowed him to see the world.
Raymond was known for his kindness, his sense of humor, and the warm smile that made people feel welcome wherever he went. He touched the lives of many, not only in Crozet but in places far beyond, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who met him.
He is survived by two sisters, Sarah Steppe of Baltimore, Maryland, and Olivia Woodfolk of Lansdale Pennsylvania, along with a host of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
A visitation will be held at Anderson Funeral Service, 5888 St. George Avenue, Crozet, VA 22932, on Sunday, March 8, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.A graveside service will follow at Mt Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery, 2800 Pea Ridge Rd., White Hall, Virginia, on Monday, March 9, at 11:00 AM. After the service, anyone who wishes may gather at Wood Grill in Charlottesville, Virginia.
