Not sure what to say?

It has been a rough weekend. First hearing of my friend Alan Cole passing away Friday night. Now today, hearing of my friend, Ray Woodruff had passed away in February, and I'm just now hearing about it. Ray had been sick for awhile but the last time I saw him at a baseball card show, he was slower, but still just as feisty as ever.
Ray was the very first card show dealer that I ever met. Way back in the early 80's, I finally got my dad to take me to my first card show at the old...

Hi, my name is Renee Mays, and Ray was always kind and funny when I went to Springfield High School. So Blessed to have known him and his authenticity. Bless his family who I know will miss having him around. I had a brain tumor in 1989 and I remember how kind and concerned he was...a real Gem! God Bless you all.

Served this man beers for many years around town. No doubt he will be missed by many. He loved his family for sure. RIP Ray.

Sorry for your loss, Ray always kept things interesting, he was a good guy

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

I first met him at a card show many years ago. You were drawn to the little guy whose voice boomed out over the room. When I got to his table, I found his passion for the hobby even greater than mine. Such a fun and warm personality, we quickly became friends as I saw him at shows through the years. He was the man who told me about the senior softball league in Springfield, and got me into playing. Rwest in peace, dear friend, you will always be remembered!

Always loved talking to Raymond

Ray was one of a kind. I knew him from Springfield High School. Great stories, happy and entertainment was the Ray I knew. He always had a group of us in stitches with laughter. Rest in peace, Ray. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
