Mr. Re'Mund Jovonta Whittington, Sr., 31, of Beaumont, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 in Beaumont, Texas.
The Celebration Services for Mr. Whittington will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel (1395 Gladys Street - Beaumont, Texas 77701) with burial Service to follow at Anthony Cemetery in Beaumont, Texas under the directions of Mercy Funeral Home. Public viewing will be held for Mr. Whittington on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 5:00 p.m. at Mercy Funeral Home Chapel and on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the chapel. For your safety the practice of Social Distancing and Facial Masks Recommended.
A Glimpse in the life of Poo
Re'Mund Jovonta Whittington Sr.("Poo Da Dawn") was born February 25th, 1992 to Tonie Michelle Dawson and Howard Earl Whittington in Beaumont, Texas. He attend school in Beaumont, Texas and Pensacola, Florida and graduated from Central High School in Beaumont. Poo loved to ride mini bikes, gambling, family gathering, among'st other things. He loved his kids. Poo never met a stranger and everyone was his friend. He had a smile that could light up a room, he loved his shoes and clothes, and couldn't tell him that he wasn't fly. Poo had a soul that made you feel loved, he worked at Helena Laboratories and unbeknownst to everyone was up for a big promotion.
Poo departed this life on Sunday, August 6, 2023 in Beaumont Texas. He was proceed in death by his maternal grandmother, Shirley Ray Dawson; his paternal grandmother, Debra Yvonne Whittington; grandfather, Tommy Dawson; cousin, Desmond Ridley; uncle, Joey Dawson and many more.
Poo leaves his cherish memories, his mother, Tonie Dawson; father, Howard Whittington; grandfather, Howard Castille; brothers, Jordan Whittington, and Jeremy Dawson; sisters, Santasia Whittington, Sassidy Whittington and Sanastashia Whittington; Wife, Achristal Whittington; kids, Zemayya Whittington, Re'mund Whittington, Jr., Reyonna Whittington, Aquintianna Grogan, Remiah Whittington, Reymorri Whittington, Re'shaun Whittington,Requan Whittington and Terrence Bass, Jr.; and host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.
