Not sure what to say?

Jim, Rachael & Jeff,
So sorry to read of your mother’s passing. We recalled many happy memories with your family and with your dad.
May God be with you all at this time.

We are so sad to learn of Becky’s passing. Two of our children were her kids’ ages and we spent many times cheering them on.
Her son, Jim, and our Geoff were on Lockport’s football and wrestling teams. The boys were together in Scouting from their Cub Scout days to junior high Boy Scouts activities.
Becky’s Rachael and our Wendy were in Girl Scouts when Becky and I were leaders.
Rachael and Wendy worked on scrapbooks about their big brothers years of playing football. They...

I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending hugs.

I am really sorry to hear of Becky's passing.
I knew her in the mid 70's to early 80's. through our involvement with the Lemont Jaycees. She was a fun wonderful person.
I am pleased for her to see how much she accomplished in her life after Jim passed.
She's in my prayers and my sympathy to her family.

Rebecca's Obituary

Rebecca (Becky) R. Bambrick, 75, formerly of Lockport, departed from our world on May 4, 2025.

A Lowell, Indiana native and Purdue University graduate, she resided in Lockport for over 40 years. In that time, Becky raised a family, taught elementary school students, and trained herself in accounting as a new vocation.

Becky sought to raise people up, and was always ready to give of herself to lend a helping hand. She mentored young girls as a Girl Scout troop leader, coached both boys and girls as teeball/softball coach, and served as a primary caregiver for several ill family members.

She was a licensed aviation pilot, a weekly bowling league participant, an arts and crafts aficionado, and she never met a current event she would not want to discuss further. Her kind spirit will endure through the memories of those who knew and loved her.

In the afterlife, Becky is now reunited with the light of her life, her late husband Jim. Her passing is also preceded by that of her parents, Raymond and Eulalie Fox (nee Pilotte), and her brother, Mike.

Becky is survived and remembered by her children, Jim Bambrick, Rachael Gordon (nee Bambrick), and Jeff Bambrick; as well as her siblings Gretchen Robinson (nee Fox), Jeff Fox, Chris Fox, Alan Fox, and Tony Fox.

Visitation Tuesday, May 13, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. at Markiewicz Funeral Home, P.C. 108 Illinois St., Lemont. Funeral Service will immediately follow, at 1 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Cemetery, 1050 State Street, Lemont, IL 60439.
