Not sure what to say?

A couple of COOL chicks back in the day!

I have fond memories from our youth. I miss you already!!

Becky was one of my dearest friends in high school and beyond. I am so saddened by her passing but I put my hope in the Lord in this life and for the next. I regret that I will not be able to attend her service but I want her family to know that I loved her very much and would be there if my circumstances were different but please know that I grieve her loss with each of you. May the Lord bless you and keep you. May His face shine on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord turn His face...

I am so sorry for your loss. Becky was my dearest friend when we were neighbors. I have so many memories that I will always cherish. Courtney and Justin, take comfort in knowing that she is in the Lord's presence. Many prayers for the days ahead.

My deepest sympathies for the family. Becky was such a sweet person. May God wrap his arms around you and bring you strength and comfort ❤

I’m so sorry for your loss. Your loved one was more than just a coworker—they were someone who brought kindness, dedication, and warmth into the workplace. They had a way of making the day a little brighter, whether through their hard work, their sense of humor, or simply their presence.

Working alongside them was truly a privilege, and they will be deeply missed by all of us who had the chance to know them. Please know that our thoughts are with you during this incredibly...

Rest in peace

Prayers to Courtney, Justin, Nickey and their families. I will keep all of you in my prayers,

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Rebecca's Obituary

Rebecca “Becky” Lanan Hollis Barnes, 61, of Durant, Oklahoma, formerly of Stamps, Arkansas, passed away on March 7, 2026. Becky was born on January 21, 1965, in Lewisville, Arkansas, to the late Nickey and LaRonda Hollis. She was a proud graduate of Stamps High School, Class of 1983, and remained a proud Yellowjacket throughout her life. Becky dedicated much of her life to serving the citizens of Lafayette County. She began working for the county in 1997 and proudly served as the elected Lafayette County Tax Assessor from 2007 to 2018. She faithfully served in that role, earning the respect and friendship of many throughout the community through her commitment and service.

Above all else, Becky loved her family. She was a dedicated and loving mother who went above and beyond to make sure her children had everything they needed. Her family was the center of her world. Her greatest joy in life was being “Nana” to her grandchildren. Bethany, Jaxen, and Paislynn were truly the light of her life, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Becky was known as the very best Nana, and her love for her grandchildren was evident to everyone who knew her. She also had a special fondness for the color purple, which perfectly matched her warm and vibrant spirit. Her greatest joy was being a mother and Nana, and the love she poured into her family will live on in their hearts forever.
