My life is better having known you. I will miss our political banter, fantasy football trash talk, and busting on the fact that you were a West Virginia guy. Above all of that, the PAAC will not be the same without you. We will continue to do the things they said that we would never do....in your honor. Until we meet again. Love you man.

DJ was a wonderful online friend of my son Jacob who is also one of " the old guys" with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. They "talked" daily and were an encouragement to one another. DJ was an asset to everyone knew him. He will be sorly missed.

DJ you were a special nephew who has left a special mark on this earth. You were always trying to make life easier for everyone that had muscle dystrophy or anyone that had family members that had it. You made it easy for them to reach out to you. I was very proud of you.

Dear Cousins, DJ's grandmother, Twila, loved him very much. Twila loved her entire family. I'm sure Twila was one of the first to greet DJ and wrap her arms around him as he entered his heavenly home. He continues to be surrounded with love.
