Not sure what to say?

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Remington. He was in my Algebra class when I first moved to Barton. Remington was always very pleasant and polite in class. I saw him a couple of times after he left Barton High School and with that familiar smile, he very proudly showed me his new daughter. My heart goes out to the family during this time and I will keep you in my prayers.

Man cuzzo this don’t feel real I miss u so much you was one of the most fearless people I knew I specifically when it came to snakes would grab them suckers right up not a care in the worl lol I keep our streak everyday just like u told me to I just wish I could get one last talk with u rest in love buddy save me a seat up there LLR

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

You were always a joy to me remi. I will always hold you dear to my heart. Watch over your little girl. Love you always

Your memory will live forever Remi.

Remi had the kind of smile that could light up the dimmest room. His contagious laughter made us all better for knowing him. He was a friend to everyone. Here today & gone tomorrow has never felt so real. There’s one thing about it, his time may have been cut short on earth, but he made lasting impacts on us all. Never Forgotten. Until we meet again.. we all love you Remi

Obituary

Remington's Obituary

Remington Drake Inebnit was born on June 7, 2002 in Helena, Arkansas to Cory Inebnit, Sr. and Melissa Kinney, the youngest of three children.

Remy grew up in Phillips County a typical young boy, fishing and hunting and causing mischief wherever he went.  He attended school in Marvell and Barton and went to church with his family at Marvell United Methodist Church.  He loved his big brother and sister, C.J. and Kaitlyn.

After deciding to postpone his education in favor of working, Remy worked for Brian Thomas Farms and most recently for Mississippi Limestone.

Remy worked because he had to but he hunted because he loved to….ducks, geese, frogs-all of them were fair game to him.  If the hunting wasn’t good, it didn’t bother Remy…he would just go bass fishing.

Whenever he wasn’t in the woods or trying to catch a fish, Remy loved hanging out his with his buddies.  He will forever be remembered as someone who loved to have fun and make people laugh.  Most of all, he was always there for his friends when they needed him.

A proud daddy, Remington always loved to spend time with his daughter, Oaklynn.

Remy’s life was tragically cut short on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.  He was only 20 years old.  His time on earth was short, but his memory will live on with those who loved and cherished him.

Survivors are his mother, Melissa Kinney of Plummerville; daughter, Oaklynn Inebnit of Colt; brother, C.J. Inebnit of Marvell; sister, Kaitlynn Inebnit of Marianna; godfather, Adam Rowland; and many, many other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Remington was preceded in death by his father, Cory Inebnit, Sr.; stepfather, Daryl Kinney; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A graveside service for Remington Inebnit will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Schaffhauser Cemetery in Marvell.  A visitation will be at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Funeral Home in Marvell on Friday, February 10th from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.  Brother Adam Rowland will officiate.

Pallbearers are C.J. Inebnit, Austin King, Dustin Long, Matthew McBride, Ethan Rogers, Jaden Patterson, Cayden Hart, Nick O’Neal and Ty Monroe.  Honorary pallbearers are Allen O’Neal, Kaitlyn Inebnit and Anthony Aguilar.
