James as I called him, was a good friend, a good person. My Mississippi homeboy who loved to fish. He will be truly missed. Monica, my condolences to you and your family from Kevin and I. We are deeply sorry for your loss.

Funeral service for Retired SFC Richard James, 67 of Killeen, TX will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Chisolm's Family Funeral Home in Killeen, TX. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow the service at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, TX. 

Mr. James passed away August 10, 2025 in Giddings, TX. He was born October 11, 1957, in Glendora, MS.
