Rev. Billy Ray Moore, Sr., 82, of Osceola, passed away May 18, 2025 at his home. He was born June 1, 1942, in Marie to the late Bill Moore and Retha Chaney. He was a United States Navy Veteran, a pastor and a member of Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Billy Moore, Jr., one brother, Bill Moore, and one sister, Shirley Bridges. His is survived by his wife, Betty Moore of Osceola, two brothers, Buddy Strop of Bono, and Mike Strop of Mountain Home, four sisters, Pam Batchelor of Osceola, Linda Saletto of Florida, Retha Osbon of Paragould, and Martha Hicks of Prescott, two grandchildren Nickolas Aaron Ray Moore of Osceola and Bailee Ann Hinklin of Manila, and four great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 11:00 to 1:00 at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, with the funeral to follow at 1 PM. Burial will follow at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola. Bro. Joe Kelso will be officiating. Wilson Funeral Home of Osceola will be in charge of the service.
