Not sure what to say?

So sorry to the family i will remember him always Gracie

I adored Mr. Maddox! He was truly an agent of God and in the perfect job to touch the lives and hearts of so many young people. He had that magic ability to see and respect us students as real people, not just kids. As a coach, he could get me to work harder than any coach I've had since. I somehow gained his trust well enough to assist him in an occasional covert operation: He'd give me money and permission to go buy him some pork rinds at Merryman's grocery. I loved those assignments! I'm...

Rev. Cecil was one of the most delightful people I have known in my life. As a teacher of my children in Carr Elementary he was strict with a loving mannerand required his students' best effort. My children loved him as I am sure hundreds of others did. As a colleague in education I had nothing but the highest respect for him. His Christian faith and love of the Lord was evident in his behavior and everything he did. He hd a marveloius sense of humor and love of life . His beautiful...

A go fund me has been established ny the family under Cecil Maddox jr tribute fund

Coach was a wonderful teacher and all of us who found ourselves under his tutelage in school had values instilled in them because Coach was in our lives. Mr. Maddox was a wonderful person and my thought and prayers are with his family. He will be greatly missed! I have great memories of him and running from the bear!!!

One of the greatest men I have ever had the privilege to know and call a friend.

Strong influence in my life. Proud to have known him.

Mr. Maddox was a wonderful person and a wonderful teacher. He would always speak to me when out in public and he never forgot who I was. Mr. Maddox will definitely be missed and he will never be forgotten.
