Not sure what to say?

When I think of Jack I smile. His humor was infectious. (And I can only imagine the joke he'd make if he knew I used that adjective.) But my main memory of Jack will be of a life well-lived: How he so willingly devoted his life to others; be they his parishioners, fellow priests, seminarians, family and friends. He touched so many lives during his time with us and made all of us stronger and better. And he made us laugh. Thanks, Jack.

We grew up in neighboring parishes in the West Park area of Cleveland. He used extraordinary gifts from God to become his faithful servant.

I have fond memories of Jack Manning while growing up with the Mannings, times at Conneaut Lake, and last seeing Father Jack at my dad’s wake.

RIP Fr. Manning. Your Family is on our thoughts and prayers. Margaret Hicks and Family

Father Manning was a blessing granted to the parishioners of Saint Vincent de Paul Church. His presence brought light, comfort, and strength to so many. His faith, kindness, and unwavering dedication to our parish will never be forgotten. May he rest in God’s eternal peace.

Rest in peace, you will be missed

I knew Jack from Borromeo College and a couple years at St Mary Seminary. He impressed me as a gentleman with a welcoming smile. He honored the priesthood. May he rest in peace.

Fr. Manning did so many good and kind things for my parents, my daughter and I. He offered me my first job at St. Vincent and then as Cafe Mgr. He encouraged me to become an Alter Server and Eucharistic Minister. Serving Fr. Manning and Fr. Clancy was truly an honor. Fr. Manning loved the children's Mass during the school year and the children loved his stories! Thank you Fr. Manning for your years at St. Vincent De Paul and the many years after when you came back to have Mass for us. ...

Rest in Peace dear Fr Manning
