Rhetta was born in Chicago Illinois in 1954. She graduated from Roosevelt Highschool in 1973. She was the 2nd of 6 children born to Ella Mae and Clarence Shaw. On November 16th of 1990 she married William E. Rouster. She worked with the Gary Community School Corporation as a teacher's aid where she loved helping and encouraging the youth to move forward with positivity. There was no such thing as split family when it came to her, it was always one family all love. In her spare time she was a talented seamstress with overflowing creativity. Each of her works were infused with the genuine love she always had to offer. She is survived by her husband, William E Rouster; her siblings, Brother, Donzell Rayner; Brother, Willie Cleve Shaw (Wife, Denise Shaw); Sister, Patricia Shaw(Children, Toya & Yasmine); Sister, Sharon Hurston (Husband, Mr. Hurston)(Son, Kenneth Brooks); Sister, Margie Allen ; Daughter, Sharon Rembert-Powell (Daughter, Dana Crawford and her children); Son, William B.
