A memorial service for Richard Lee Creecy, 75, will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Centennial Chapel of Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home with Pastor Allen Dorries officiating.
The son of the late Claud Creecy and Morene Fay Ryan Denney, Richard was born May 29, 1950 in Ardmore and passed away on August 8, 2025 in an Oklahoma City hospital.
He and the former Deborah June Vaile were married July 21, 1973 in Ardmore and they celebrated 52 years together.
Richard worked for the Stromberg-Carlson company for 9 years, was a Junior Assistant Manager with Winn Dixie Grocery and was with Wal-Mart for 26 years.
He is survived by his wife Deborah; son Tim Creecy; step-sisters, Tammy Gravelle and Jan Barlow and host of cousins and extended family.
