Not sure what to say?

My condolences to Carol and the family. Dick always had a smile on his face, he was a very pleasant guy.

My first professional job in architecture in the 80's was at Kahler Slater where I met Dick. I was such an awkward novice -- and he was so kind. He always looked beyond the surface.. to understand people at a deeper level. That is an attribute of a truly great man. Thanks Dick !

I had the honor of working with Dick for several years as I was just beginning my architecture career. I will always remember how he would tease me about something, wait for me to look at him, then laugh hysterically and slap me on the shoulder. He was the consummate professional who taught me we can be serious about our work without taking ourselves too seriously. I feel so fortunate to have known him.

I had the privilege of getting to know Dick when we became neighbors a short time ago. Even though the time was brief his warm smile and humor made me feel like we had known each other for years. I’ll remember the twinkle in his eyes and his love for his family. Love and comfort to the family.

He was such a talented and gentle giant. I was so lucky to have known him through the architectural organizations we were involved in. My condolences to the entire family.

Carol..
I have wonderful memories of Dick making me laugh. He was a very kind man who I know was so proud of the work you did. Eddie died last February. May your memories bring you comfort and peace. Fondly, Mardi

A kind and warm man, Dick always had a joke and a ready smile. I'm so lucky to have worked with him. My condolences to his lovely family.

I remember him being a very sweet man. I hope you find some peace through this hard time

Dick Eschner was a shining light in the Village of Shorewood. He will be greatly missed. Our thoughts are with Carol and family during this difficult time.
