Not sure what to say?

Richard was a gentle giant with a constant loving smile who would go to any length to help others in need. As a close friend of Tommy Cook, I remember Richard well while we were all in high school together. Great memories! Love to you, Beverly and family.

My sorrow at Palestine's loss of Richard Farris is only surpassed by my joy in having known such a kind, wonderful man. Richard's ready smile and his "Hi, Sweetheart!" will be missed so much in the days ahead. My deepest sympathy to Beverley and the family. My prayers and love are with you.

We will miss Richard .He was one of a kind. We loved Richard and the whole Farris family.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Our prayers for all of the family. Richard was a long time family friend. I will always remember his smiling face. RIP our friend. John and Kay Burney.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am sure there are many others that say as I do: "It was a distinct honor to have known Richard Farris".
He was a real hero for our Palestine Texas legacy. He was most dependable and his word was his bond.
I taught at Palestine High School with his wife Beverly and she too showed great loyalty to the school and
to our city of Palestine. Citizens like Richard come by but once in a life time. May God Bless

Our deepest sympathy on the sudden loss of a kind and generous soul. Our friend Richard was a true promoter of Palestine. He loved his town and it's people. He will be greatly missed by those of us who were lucky enough to have known him.
