Deepest sympathies to the Fleming family on the sad passing of Richard. May Richard rest in peace.

What an honor to have known Richie and how blessed we were the day he and Brendan came into our lives to restore our old home. The restoration memories are more about Richie and Brendan than the house itself. I often think of them and those wonderful days they’d show up to work, so reliably, full of kindness and goodwill. Always checking in on how our kids and multiple pets were doing. It’s impossible not to think of Richie, with his grand character, sound advice, and heartfelt stories...

Condolences to all the Fleming family on the passing of Richard, he was a very nice and friendly man, may he rest in peace.

Our sincere sympathies to Richard’s family and the extended Fleming families on the sad passing of Richard. He was a true gentleman. May he rest in peace.

Sympathies to Richard’s family on his passing. He was a very proud family man. A great character with a great storytelling ability. Always enjoyed his company whether it was in Boston or Barryroe. His interest in every sport from bowling to the NFL was incredible. He will be missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. RIP

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Richard W. Fleming, aged 89, of Medford, Massachusetts, who died peacefully on January 2, 2026, after a long and faithful life.

Following the death of his mother when he was just thirteen years old, he helped raise his younger siblings, a responsibility he carried with quietstrength and devotion throughout his life.

A skilled carpenter by trade, he studied at Wentworth Institute and was associated with the local carpenters’ union.
