Rich and his family came out to Australia for a couple of years when he was about 14. He was a funny bloke and a good friend. After schools we would spend hours with Rich and Garlic (Michael Gallagher) throwing a frisbee before his lovely Mum would drive us home.
Rich got a few of us into baseball - the Cromer Pirates. As kids who grew up playing cricket and who knew nothing about baseball, he did pretty very well turning us into half decent players. But really we were a great team...
