Richard Warren Howard, age 78 of Malvern, passed away at Arbors at Minerva on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Richard was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan on September 22, 1946 to Robert and Mary (Kosacz) Howard. Richard was a man who took great joy in life's simple pleasures. Richard's adventurous spirit often led him to the great outdoors, where he cherished the serenity of camping trips under starlit skies. Richard found tranquility in the crisp morning air while fishing. He was an avid fan of westerns, losing himself in tales of rugged landscapes and unyielding characters, and never missed an episode of Judge Judy, relishing in the courtroom drama. Richard enjoyed camaraderie of a good game of euchre. He also enjoyed the thrill of gambling, embracing the excitement and chance it offered.He will be remembered for his zest for life and the warmth he shared with those around him. Richard leaves behind fond memories that will be cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by a daughter, Tina (Eric) Francis of Magnolia; and a brother, Roger Howard of Ontario CA.In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Howard; a daughter, Jonie Howard; and a granddaughter, Nevaeh Francis.Funeral service will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, 10175 Rawiga Road, Seville, Ohio, on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at 10:45 AM with Tony Short officiating.
