RIP Todd, I will miss you. I have known you all my life and there will be an empty hole in my heart. I will miss your laugh, your smile and all your crazy adventures. They only reassurance I can get out of this is that you are now sitting with grandmal and papaw, watching over the rest of us. Until we see each other again.....Love you cuz

"Hop" , wife and the rest of Todd's family: I am so sorry to read of Todd's passing....My prayers are with you at this difficult and sad time.

If you met him you never forgot him. His personality was infectious. My condolences to his wife, children, family, and friends. I know how much you loved him and I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Kay, Hop and Family-I am so sorry to hear about Todd's passing. I still remember when he was just a twinkle in his mother's eye. Sometimes it's hard to understand why these things happen to someone so young. May all your good memories together carry you thru this most difficult time.

Richard "Todd" Lam, 35, a resident of Elkton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 22, 2014.He was born on June 3, 1978 and was the son of Richard "Hop" and Kay Wood Lam of Elkton.Todd lived the majority of his life in Elkton and graduated from Spotswood High School in 1996. Todd enjoyed umpiring with Elkton Little League; playing with Young Country and numerous other country bands, and was known by local musicians and fans, as one of the areas best drummers. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Michelle Ashley Lam; four children, Tristan, Kayli, Mariah and Lani; a sister, Nicole Lucas and husband, Eric, of Elkton; two nieces; one nephew; five step-children; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, April 24, 2014, at Elkton Pentecostal Church. Friends and family may call at the home of his parents at anytime.Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, on Friday, April 25, at the church with Rev. Clyde Plum and Rev. Keith May officiating. Burial will be in the Wood Family Cemetery in Beldor.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kyger Funeral Home, to assist with unexpected funeral expenses.
