Richard Leroy Lambert, Sr., 66, of Princeton died at his residence on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Born in Welch July 17, 1952 he was the son of the late William and Martha Milam Lambert. Richard formerly worked in explosives in Washington State and in the construction business upon his return to this area. He was a faithful member and former Deacon of Maranatha Baptist Church in Princeton and took great pride in his church work. He worked to restore the Children Bus Ministry for the AWANA group at Maranatha. Richard loved History and enjoyed hunting and fishing and making canes in his workshop. In addition to his parents, one sister, Sadie Lane, one brother, Billy Lambert and one grandson, Richard N. Lambert preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Brenda Jean Hurley Lambert of Princeton; one daughter, Brenda Lee Lambert of Princeton; one son, Richard L. Lambert, Jr. and his wife Amy of Savannah, GA; five grandchildren, Santana Aaron Lee Moretto. Isabella Grace LeCleir and her husband Jeremy, Colin Lambert, Catelyn Lambert and Richard L. Lambert, lll; two great-grandchildren, Asher LeCleir and Scarlett Lambert; three sisters, Jane Taylor and husband Raymond of Lake City, PA, Kathleen Ross of Corry, PA and Phyllis Lambert of Union City, PA; three brothers, Don Lambert and wife Lee of Gaithersburg, MD, Harris Lambert and wife Meta of Georgetown, GA and Harry Lambert and wife Helen of Cleveland, TN. In keeping with his wishes Richard was cremated and a Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be conducted 7:00 PM Friday, May 31, 2019, at the Maranatha Baptist Church on the Oakvale Rd. in Princeton with Rev. Marvin Mills officiating. Friends may call at the church from 6:00 PM to the service hour on Friday.
