Richard “Rick” Lee Lovendahl November 26, 1953 – November 3, 2025
Richard Lee Lovendahl, known to all as Rick, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Riverton, Utah, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on November 26, 1953, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Wesley D. Lovendahl and Mary Elaine Grace and grew up in Riverton, Utah.
Rick was a handyman at heart who could build or fix just about anything. His creativity and skill showed in everything he touched, and even as his health declined, his love for working with his hands never faded.
He enjoyed the outdoors and could often be found hunting, camping, or riding four-wheelers. He also loved cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, watching WWE, spending time bowling, and simply being outside with family and friends.
Survived by his children Corinne, Julie (Neil), Stacie, Brent (Michelle), Shane, and Corey (Lexi); his siblings Wesley (Linda), Jimmy (Sue), Carl, and RaeLeen; and many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Neil.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Broomhead Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow on Monday, November 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Lehi City Cemetery.
