LYONS, Richard J., a longtime resident of Rutherford, NJ age 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. Richard was born in New York City and had worked as a stock broker for Bear Stearns before retiring. He was predeceased by his mother Lorraine Hallback. Beloved husband to the late Lorraine (nee) McGraw (2017). Richard's pride and joy was his family. He will be deeply missed by his children, Linda Magee, Laura Gordon and partner Larry Gress, Lorraine and her husband Shawn Mahoney, Lisa and Charles Southard. Cherished grandfather to Steven Magee, Kim and Zak Novitske, Lorraine Gordon and partner Edward Ryan III, Kristin Mahoney, Kelly Mahoney, Sage Southard, Shayna Southard, and Rowan Erickson. Adored great-grandfather to Alyssa and Zak Novitske and Mark Gordon.
