Richard T. Moore, Sr., 91, of Northampton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. He was the loving husband of Carol J. (Berg), they celebrated 69 years of marriage. Born April 4, 1934, in Northampton, he was the son of the late William and Cora (Wuchter) Moore. Richard honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He began his career at Mack Trucks. Then, he helped at the family-owned dry-cleaning business, Moore Cleaners, in Northampton. Richard was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Cherryville.
In addition to his wife, Richard is survived by his children, Richard T. Moore, II and his wife, Felicia, and her son, Jesse and wife, Jessica, and their daughter, Anna; Cathy J. Moore; and Timothy C. Moore and wife, Rebecca, and their daughter, Elizabeth and fiancé, Gavin. He was predeceased by his sisters, Thelma and Charlotte.
Private services are under the care of Reichel Funeral Home, Northampton.
