Richard's Obituary
JAMESTOWN- Richard R. Navarro, 83, of Jamestown, and formerly from Mayville, NY and the Bronx, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the Olean General Hospital in Olean, NY, following a brief illness. He was born September 17, 1942, in the Bronx, NY, the son of Clarence and Mary Corcoran Navarro.
Richard had worked as a manager at Y&R Advertising in NYC. He loved animals and was involved with the Humane Society.
He is survived by a brother, Walter Navarro of Mayville, NY, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Christine Near and Theresa Hughes, and four brothers, Michael Navarro, Raymond Navarro, Henry Navarro, and William Navarro.
At Richards Request, there will be no public services observed. A graveside service will be held by family in the Mayville Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society (2825 Strunk Rd, Jamestown, NY 14701).
