I have very fond memories of Ritchie. My heart is saddened by his death. I am glad to have gotten to know Ritchie as I am the mother of his first two grandchildren. He was a good man. Always a kind word and a smile from him. Thank you for being nice to my children Richard. Praying for the family.

Richard Frank Pakacki, age 74, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the Princeton Community Hospital in Princeton, WV.
Richard was born in Baltimore, MD to the late Adam Pakacki, Sr., and Ada May Wilburn Pakacki. Along with his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers Adam Pakacki, Jr., Robert Pakacki, Sr., David Pakacki, Sr., and Joseph Pakacki, Sr.; and a great granddaughter Sarah.
Richard, a diligent individual, dedicated more than five decades to managing his own construction enterprise, MAP Construction. Throughout this extensive period, he tirelessly erected numerous houses across the Maryland region, showcasing his creativity and a keen appreciation for the intrinsic value in everything. In addition to his construction pursuits, Richard cultivated a passion for collecting, amassing an assortment of guns and vintage cars. Beyond his professional and collecting endeavors, he found enjoyment in attending auto auctions, purchasing vehicles to refurbish and sell. Richard cherished moments spent with his family, relishing the company, and indulging in his love for westerns. Above all, he remained unwaveringly committed to fulfilling his roles as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Angelina Elizamay Pakacki; four children Donald Pakacki, Sr. & wife Misty, Joseph Michael Pakacki, Richard Pakacki, Sr. & wife Kimberly, and Adabella Pakacki; two sisters Catherine Ridgely and Ada “Cookie” Buckheight; grandchildren D.J., Cheyenne, Cassidy, Megan(Gregory), Michael(Jennifer), Richard(Audrey), Elina(Nathan), & Damion; great grandchildren Elijah, Brooklynn, Nova, Jaymynn, Paislee, Annzleigh, Brayson, Shelby, Emma, Seth, and one on the way; along with several nieces, nephews, and a special cousin Charles.
Honoring Richard’s wishes, he will be laid to rest in Elkins, WV, in the town where his mother was born. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley’s Funeral Home of Marion is serving the Pakacki Family.
