Rick always had a smile on his face. He always had a happy personality and never had a dull day since I met him. In the time I knew him he brought light to my life, he will be so missed and loved. Rick is an amazing person and is now at peace.

Rick was born in Fullerton, CA on February 22, 1969, and passed peacefully at Stanford Hospital surrounded by his family on September 13, 2025.
Rick is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Maureen; daughters, Alexis and Abby; parents, Richard and Betty Day; siblings, Kristin (Mike) Larsen, Michelle (Gary) Heaton and many nieces and nephews.
Rick and his family moved to Patterson in 1976 and graduated from Patterson High School in 1987. He then attended Sacramento State University majoring in Business/Finance and graduated with his B.S. in 1992. That same year he proposed to his wife Maureen, started taking summer trips to Bodega Bay and began his thirty-three-year career with Farmers Insurance.
Rick and Maureen established their home in Turlock, CA. The couple welcomed the first of their daughters, Alexis, in 2000 and their second, Abby, in 2003. Rick was a man of family, friends, and faith. He enjoyed taking all of his loved ones to Dodger Stadium and Disneyland, nights at home playing cards, board games, and watching sports on TV.
A Visitation for Rick will be held at All Saints University Parish in Turlock at 4:00 PM with Rosary to follow at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 with burial at Turlock Memorial Park and reception at Larsa Banquet Hall to follow.
