Richard L. Sacilowski, 74, former Anderson resident, passed away October 3, 2011 in Sarasota, FL after a brief illness.He was born June 29, 1937 in Anderson. He was a graduate of Anderson High School, where he was a cheerleader, and attended Ball State University. He retired from Pepsi Bottling Company in Toledo, OH where he served as Comptroller. After his retirement, he then moved to Florida.He was an avid Anderson Indians fan and Indianapolis Colts fan. He served in the Army Reserves and was a collector of classic movies, enjoyed music and loved his pets.He is survived by his sister, Marilyn S. Schuster of Anderson; nephew, Gary (wife, Bobbe) Schuster, Jr. of Anderson; great nieces, Ashley M. Schuster of Houston, TX and Adrienne J. Schuster of Arlington, TX; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and long time friend, Paul Stockdale of Sarasota, FL.He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon "Shike" and Maxine (Conner) Sacilowski.Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Vale officiating.
