Single Memorial Tree

I had the pleasure of working with Rich on multiple projects here at Henry. Rich was always great to work with and I enjoyed when our conversations meandered away from work. He was always helpful and willing to teach. I'm thankful for the time I got to know him and spend with him.

Rich and I worked together at Henry. Although we worked remote, we were on face to face video calls everyday. I really enjoyed Rich being a part of our team. He had such a gentle nature, warm smile and a confidence bout him. I will miss him as a coworker, and as a friend.

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.

Richard's Obituary

Richard Eugene Stoeckert, 55, of Ponder, TX passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022.  He was born in Flushing, New York on July 11, 1966, to Michael Stoeckert and Johanna D`Ambrosio Stoeckert.

He married Carrie Lorraine Spencer on April 3, 1993, in Lewisville, TX at Lewisville Bible Church. They were members of Faith United Methodist Church of Denton. Rich graduated with his bachelor’s degree in 1991 from the University of North Texas.  He worked in IT for over 30 years and was currently working for Henry, Inc.

Rich enjoyed spending time with his family, working out in his home gym, listening to music, and tinkering with his guitars.  Rich supported Alexa’s creative art and Johanna’s sports and music talents.  His granddaughter Kyla was the apple of his eye, she could do no wrong.  He was an avid hockey fan, and you would find him trying to coach the team through the TV.  He was a generous man who put his family first.

A funeral service will take place at the Faith United Methodist Church of Denton on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, beginning at 11:00 AM.

He is survived by his wife, Carrie Stoeckert, his daughters Alexa and Johanna Stoeckert, and granddaughter Kyla of Ponder, Texas.  He was also survived by his parents Michael and Johanna Stoeckert of Flower Mound, Texas; his brother Michael and his wife Wendi Stoeckert of Birmingham, Alabama; his sister Christina and husband Adam Russell of Krum, Texas; and his brother Jonathan and his wife Mika Stoeckert of Denton, Texas.

Memorials may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in honor of him.
