Not sure what to say?

Condolences to Richard's family and friends. I will always remember him as sincere and kind, utterly his own person. He always seemed so accepting and was the kind of person with whom one could simply be quiet and listen. We went to high school together and would run into each other from time to time a few years after. At that time, he was scheming to write the Great American Novel. It's sad to learn he's passed. Wishing him and his people peace.

Anne,
Our deepest sympathy. We are thinking of you.

Dear Anne and Family,
We were so sorry to learn about Richard. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.

Dear Anne,

I just arrived home from a trip and was so sad to hear about Richard. I'm glad I got to meet him a few weeks ago when he seemed to be doing so well. Please know that my heart hurts with yours, not only for the loss of Richard, but also as it renews the pain of losing your other precious son, Christopher. You and your daughters and extended family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Janet

Rough couple of years our families have had. I have lots of great memories of Richard when we were kids, enjoying holidays out in Dixie. Very sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts.

Thinking of you guys everyday.

Wow, I just read the news today, oh boy.
The last memory I have of Richard was years ago at Brannon Wagamen's wedding. A bunch of us were sitting around the table talking about all what we were doing after highschool and Richard looked at me and said "I know I should know you, but whats your name?" I had gone to school on and off with Richard until we had graduated Wa-Hi.
Rest in peace Richard.
