Having Richard and Christine as friends was like having another family. I deeply mourn their loss.

My sincere condolences to Robert and Maria and Richard's family. Richard was my boss at the Norton Shores Branch Library. He was an excellent branch manager. Everything was done with the utmost care, class and precision. I remember him meticulously hanging art displays, arranging musical groups, etc. A library event was always very special. We are so fortunate to have known Richard as well as Christine & Gracie! We had a shared interest in musical theater and opera. He always had a smile on his face and something positive to say. Condolences to Richard’s family, we know you will miss this lovely man.

Maria and Robert, I knew your father and mother here in Michigan through our mutual friends Sr. Theresa Ann and Sr. Patty (Adrian dominican sisters). I was sad that your mother had to leave you so early but will be forever grateful for the wonderful visit I had with Richard and Gracie when I was on my way to a writing workshop in Bar Harbor in October of 2018.
