Funeral services for Richard Womack, Sr., 70, of Farmerville will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel Farmerville with Bro. Aleck Nyegaard and Bro. Curtis Nyegaard officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill-Taylor Cemetery, near Farmerville, under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.Mr. Womack went to his heavenly home on June 26, 2019. He was a member of the Rocky Branch Assembly God Church and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. Mr. Richard loved the Lord with all his heart and took time to witness freely about Jesus Christ and His saving Grace. For over 20 years, he led a Royal Rangers Troop group for kids and taught kids about Christ. He was a hard worker and taught those younger how to do general trade jobs. Mr. Richard loved to collect many things and had many collections. Mr. Womack was preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Lorraine Womack; and his father and mother-in-law, Allen & Paree Burch.Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Linda Carol Burch Womack; children, Richard Womack, Jr. (Kimber), Michelle Tucker (Kenny), Wanita Jones (Jimmy) and Jim Alan Womack (Rhonda); grandchildren, Erin Rachal (Richard), Jonathan Jones, Toni Bullard (Robert), Madison Kresta (Clint), Jana Womack, Josh Tucker and Jared Tucker; great-grandchildren, Kason Bullard, Brandon Rachal, Caleigh Robinson, Carsyn Robinson, Justin Rachal and Ashley Rachal; brother, Robert Womack (Reda); niece, Kelly Womack; great nephew, Austin McAndlish; and a host of other family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jim Womack, Richard Womack, Jr., Kenny Tucker, Jimmy Jones, Josh Tucker, Jared Tucker, Jonathan Jones & Alex Fitzgerald.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Womack, Wayne Coates, Mike Boggs, Don Nyegaard, Curtis Nyegaard and C.L. Nyegaard.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
