To all the Roberts and Melton etc...family, I'm so sorry!!! I didn't get to see Ricky too much...But we were 2nd cousins. I'm praying for y'all, especially his wife and kids...grandbabies. May the good Lord comfort, strengthen , and give you all peace that passes all understanding! We will understand it better by and by. In Jesus name, Amen. I love all my family!!!

**THIS IS A COURTESY ANNOUNCEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE RICKY ROBERTS FAMILY.**

Ricky Wayne Roberts, 46, passed away peacefully at home on February 8, 2022. Ricky was born and raised in Galax, VA and moved to Alabama later in life. A memorial will be announced at a later date.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Earl & Nora Roberts, “Did” Bowers, Faye Isom Bowers, Ralph & Margrett Melton, Don & Imojean Manuel, and Uncle Bryan Bowers. 

He is survived by wife Becky Brazell Roberts; Children Shae (Ryan) Taylor, Dylan and Malike Roberts, “Tater” (Easton), Tricia, Wyatt, and Hannah Brazell; Grandchildren Charleigh Grace and Garrett Wayne Taylor and Conley and Cohen Brazell; Parents Wayne (Carolyn) Roberts and Barbara (Don) Melton; Sister Angel (Jerry) Evans; Brothers Dustin (Ashley) Roberts, Michael and Brian Melton; Nephew and nieces Gage, Gracie, & Gemma Evans, Claire Roberts, and Aryeona Melton. Several aunts and uncles. Special friends Keith Carico and Jesse Ray Martin.

Ricky enjoyed spending time with his family, riding horses, and being outdoors. He was a beloved husband, daddy, PawPaw, son, and brother.
