I was sorry to learn of Rita's passing. I knew her from working at The Menninger Clinic. Even enjoyed some Hilltopper lunches at Dottie & Rex Polter's home. Our thoughts & prayers are with family at this difficult time.

Sincere sympathy for your loss. Rita was a special person. I will always remember our winter visits when Don and I would travel West. Although short visits, each one was meaningful to us. You and Rita were always welcoming and made us comfortable. Most of all her hugs 'hello' and/or 'goodbye' were a genuine feeling of love. Ed, may you and family find comfort and peace in all your wonderful memories. Love, hugs, prayers to all. MI Cuz, Bernice P.S.Watching her memorial mass on line was...

Dana, your mom was a joy to be around! I loved sitting next to her at ball games, listening to her commentary, giggling when she got fired up at the umps, and seeing her love on you guys. Man, she loved y’all! Our Team Grandma will be so missed. Love you guys and praying for God’s comfort.

I'm sorry to hear of Rita's death. I worked with Rita years ago at the Menninger Clinic and found Rita to be amazing. She knew so much and did not mind teaching newer staff about various ins and outs of administration. Once I got to know her a bit, I found she had a warm sense of humor and and was extremely compassionate. She will be missed by many people I'm sure.

It was my privilege to work with Rita at Mary's Choices. Rita always brought love and joy with her whenever she came in to volunteer! She was so warm and loving - truly a beautiful lady! You have my sincere sympathy and prayers.

We were saddened to read of Rita's death. I was always happy to get a nice big smile and greeting from her when I was in the Legislature. The mood was tense at times, but Rita still continued with her cheery greeting. She was a very nice person. The rosary that I say today will be for Rita. My wife Sue, joins me in extending our sympathy to your family.
