Rita Ann Redden, 69, of Lawrenceburg, KY passed away December 11, 2025 at Frankfort Regional Medical Center in Frankfort, Kentucky. Born in Charlestown, Indiana on June 30, 1956, Rita was the daughter of the late Carlton Ray Redden and Norma Geraldine Lucy Redden.
A 1974 graduate of Falls Church High School in Falls Church, VA, where she grew up. Rita moved to Albany, KY and retired as an administrative assistant for the KY Department of Public Advocacy, in Frankfort KY. Her many enjoyments included researching family history, quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She was active in the Friends of the Lawrenceburg Library and in her church, Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church, where she served as a lay leader.
Rita is survived by her two sons, Scott Paul Boltz and Jason Matthew Boltz, both of Florida; a sister, Terry Redden Woodside of Fairfax, VA; a brother, Jeffrey Ray Redden of Union SC; and her grandchildren, Jackson and Colin Boltz, Alexis, Olivia, Jameson, Landon, Lachlan, Dechlan, Arabella, Ireland, Kyllian, and Fallon Boltz, all of FL.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2026 at 4:00 pm EST at Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church, 565 Carlton Drive, Lawrenceburg, KY 40342.
