Robbin L. Thornton

Robbin Lynn (Roberts) Thornton, age 57, passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at her residence near Piedmont. She was born on October 23, 1968 in Evansville, Indiana, the daughter of John and Lalah (Roe) Roberts. 

She worked for many years at the laundry mat in Evansville and was well known by the community. Robbin married Charle Thornton, Jr. on February 14, 2003 in Henderson, Kentucky. She had a love for the outdoors, going to the lake, and spending time with her dogs. 

In addition to her parents John and Lalah Roberts, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Kira Thornton.

Survivors include her husband Charles Thornton of the home, four children; Bryson Lockwood of California, Daniel Lockwood of Mountain home, Arkansas, Ann Hess and her husband Aaron of Evansville, IN, Krystal Thornton of Evansville, IN, three grandchildren; Cory, Isabel, and James Thornton, along with many other family and friends. 

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
