Bobby, you will be missed so much. We have so many memories of when we were young. You will be with Lorraine, Mom, and Dad, Aunt Betty and Uncle Tony now. Rest in peace.

I did not know Bob for too long but when I moved in across from him and his son they took me under their wings. Im disabled and both of them helped me more than my own family. I am going to I miss him deeply. He was one of the kindest man I've known.

Dear Bobby and Brandon I am sorry for your loss, I still can’t believe it. He is at peace now with your Mom who he missed so much. Hope this eases your pain just a little bit. I Love you both.

Robert's Obituary

Robert L. Bailot, aged 62, passed away unexpectedly on February 25th. Born and raised in Somerville, he was the son of the late Mary Meck and Joseph Bailot. Robert, affectionately known as Bob, was the beloved husband of the late Lorraine Bailot (Frye) for 38 years. Together, they raised their family in Everett.

Bob was a devoted father to Robert Bailot Jr., Brandon Bailot and his wife Alyssa, and a cherished grandfather to Audrey Bailot. He was a dear brother to Joan McLaughlin, Cathy Scurio, Joseph Bailot, Tom Bailot, Deborah Trapan, and William Bailot. He is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bob worked various jobs throughout the years, including at the famous Somerville Lumber where he and Lorraine met. He loved the Red Sox and being outdoors, often recognized by the sound of his slippers shuffling on the ground with his dogs walking behind him.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation at the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.), Somerville on Thursday from 2-5, followed by a celebration of life at the Village Bar and Grill, 38 Norman St, Everett, MA.
