Robert's Obituary
AUBURN, IL – Robert Dale Beard III, 31, passed away Thursday, September 28, 2017, at St. John’s Hospital.
He was born September 15, 1986, to Edward and Patricia (Johnson) Beard. His father, Edward Beard, and grandparents, Marlene & Robert Beard and James Johnson preceded him in death. He married Jami Gray on September 29, 2012 in Auburn.
Robert was the owner and operator of American Seamless Gutters & Construction. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed motorcycles and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Jami; son, Parker; mother, Patricia; sisters, Elisha (Josh) Herr and Jennifer (Nick) Neville; grandmother, Gertrude “Gert” Johnson; nieces and nephew, Abbie, Riley Edward and Evelyn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial Gathering and Service: 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church, 111 N. Iris Drive, Auburn.
Celebration of Life Gathering: 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 2017, at the VFW Post 755, 2211 Old Jacksonville Road, Springfield. Food will be provided.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: the Robert Beard Memorial Fund to assist with funeral expenses c/o US Bank.
