Not sure what to say?

I meet Bob while working with Eala. Over the years we shared many parties and dinners. Bob was so fun to spend time with especially if he was cooking. He will be missed.

May our powerful God grant you peace and comfort during this time. Our sincere condolences.

I worked with Bob for several years. He always put a smile on my face with his sense of humor, however, inappropriateLol! I know that he loved his food because it seemed like he was always eating something ☺ He was always so very helpful. Never making me feel incapable for helping me to rise to a challenge.

I know that he loved Charlie and Gracie very much. I’m sure that they will miss him dearly.

I’m glad that he’s in a different place, in the arms of Jesus. No more pain.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always.

Eala, how heartbreaking for all of you. You are in my prayers. Remember God's promise to all, through Jesus Christ

We will miss Bob.

Bob was a very gracious and kind man. We always noticed his gentleness with the children and Eala. It was clear that he was devoted to them. He will be sincerely remembered and deeply missed. I’m sure there has long been a place reserved for him in HEAVEN. May he forever REST IN PEACE.

Eala and family. I can't imagine how sad it is to lose Bob. I had the pleasure of working with him at Walmart. The best was to describe Bob is if you were in a bad mood and came to his pod, you left in a great mood.

Eala, I am so sorry for the loss of someone you loved so much! My heart aches knowing you have so much to face in the future. I also know you are strong and can do whatever it takes to keep your family going. Prayers for comfort.

Robert "Bob"'s Obituary

Robert Kazuma Chogyoji, 73, of Bella Vista, Arkansas died August 5, 2025 at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville.

He was born November 14, 1951 in Los Angeles, California to Kazuma Chogyoji and Sumiye Hashimoto. Bob was a kind and gentle man that didn’t have an enemy.  His wife described him as loving, caring, compassionate and an awesome cook.  His grandchildren described him as generous, kind, loving, hardworking, smart, wonderful and a little grumpy.  Those he worked with described him as a good co-worker, team player and a great role model. He would help anyone in need with a giving and compassionate heart.  Bob was very wise and there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do.  Everyone who knew him, knew that he loved food and loved to cook. If you asked him why, he would tell you, “Because I like good food.”  He won Eala over on their 2nd date by serving her a meal with Filet Mignon in Mushroom Wine Sauce.  The 3rd date dinner was Chilean Sea Bass with Miso sauce.  Eala immediately asked Bob to marry her!

Bob and Eala had 21 ½ wonderful years together.  During the empty nest time, they host karaoke parties.  So much fun was had by their friends and coworkers! The blessings of grandchildren started in 2008 which brought so much joy to their lives. There hasn’t been a dull moment in the Chogyoji home since. Bob will be missed by those who knew and loved him. He made a lasting impact in the lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother. Jimmy Chogyoji.

Survivors are his wife, Eala Marie Chogyoji; children, Alex Chogyoji (Natalia), Anthony Chogyoji, Charlie Chogyoji, Gracie Chogyoji; step-children, Ricky Dodson and Torey Dodson; siblings, George Chogyoji, Dick Chogyoji and Nancy Hasegawa; grandchildren, Hayden Dodson, Braxton Dodson, Hunter Dodson, Rylan Dodson, Oaklynn Dodson and Lauren Chogyoji.
