Not sure what to say?

I was shocked when I recently heard the sad news that Bob had passed away. My condolences and deepest sympathies to the Kollmeyer Family. I worked with Bob at Giddings & Lewis for 3 years (1997 - 2000). He was an amazing guy! The Kollmeyer Family is in my prayers.

Jeanne & family -- please accept our deepest sympathy on the passing of Bob. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My wife Sandy and Jeanne were pregnant at the time I started at Giddings and Lewis in August of 1985. We both were blessed with boys Keith and Jeffrey, and they learned to swim together and we knew the family well. Alan and I were next door neighbors to the Kohlmeyers when we lived on Guinette Avenue in FDL. We moved to NY in 1987. My husband worked with Bob at Giddings & Lewis. I remember Bob coming over and playing the piano with his toes. They were great and fun neighbors. RIP, Bob. You will be missed.

A very fine man. I consider myself fortunate to have met and worked with him. Sincere condolences to his family.

Uncle Bobby (as we lovingly called him) was literally as good as they get. I was extremely lucky to call this wonderful man my Uncle. Most of my fondest memories from childhood involve countless fun stories with Bob, Jeanne, Phil, Keith, and Claire.

Whether it was them coming to visit us here in Chicagoland, or us taking those many fun road trips up to Fond du Lac (often with Grandma Grace in tow!) for holidays, birthdays, etc., my brother and I always knew fun times would be in...

My heart goes out to the entire Kollmeyer extended family. Bob was my deeply appreciated technical colleague at Turck and dearly valued friend. He had an incredible knack of bringing methodical calm to any business situation.

I shared a very fond memory in a wonderful picture of Bob, which has been framed in my office since roughly 2016, showing him humorously “prying” his wallet open to pull out his Turck Corporate credit card after enjoying lunch with our valued customer and...
