Not sure what to say?

I was married to Bob in 1999. We were just kids when we got married. It’s really hard to believe he is gone. I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around it’s. I found out two years later that Bob died. Bob died and then my mom died the month after him. He loved his niece and nephew so much. He always wanted to be a dad. He love going fishing. He was always silly. He will be missed so much. We kept in touch here and there I wish we would of kept in touch more with everything he was going...

Thinking of Booth family at such a difficult time, sending you strength and prayers.

Bob, Rachel, and family,
Our deepest sympathies for your loss.

I am so sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you and your family. God bless you all

We are all saddened to hear of the tragic loss of Bobby. May memories and his everlasting love for you bring you all peace as you continue your journeys in this life.

We are so sorry for your loss. I loved joking with Bobby, and I have enjoyed working with all of his children at school. They are very special. Bobby will be missed. Cherish your memories. Sending love and prayers to all.

Dear Bob: I am going to miss you. How we used to laugh that soon we wouldn't be allowed to sit at meetings together because we were going to get into trouble for talking (and laughing!) through the entire thing. Next to me, you were the best "eye-roller" I've met. You were a terrific, awesome person and you everything you did, you did with enthusiasm, passion and a willingness to go the extra mile. I didn't see you much, but we could always pick up right we left off in our last...

Sgt. Booth recruited me into the Army in 2005, changing my life for the better. He was a good man and I was sad to learn of his passing at such a young age. I am sorry for your loss, I will keep him in my prayers.

A good man.

Obituary

Robert (Bobby)'s Obituary

Robert (Bobby) Lee Booth Jr. passed away on September 28 th, 2020 at the age of 42.  He was born in Newport on January 10 th, 1978 to Diane Davio Ross and Robert L. Booth Sr.  Bobby graduated from North Country High School in 1996 and soon after enlisted in the United States Army.  He proudly served for 17 years.  During his years of service, he traveled around the world and even ended up at Ft. Hood alongside his sister Cathy where she was also serving.

Besides the military, Bobby had many passions.  He loved hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking, gold panning and grilling (burning food was his specialty).  Bobby was also a Free Mason and Shriner.  He had the most infectious laugh and smile.   He was the first person to lend a hand or ear to anyone in need. He was the friend you always wanted to have. Unfortunately, he left us after only 42 years.

Above all his biggest joy in life were his children.  The day he became a father for the first time was the proudest moment in his life.  He went on to have 4 more children until he finally got the son, he always wanted to complete his family.  His love for his children was apparent through all of the sporting activities, game nights, outdoor adventures, bonfires and so much more.

He is survived by his 4 daughters Bailee, Elizabeth, Morgan, Juliea, and his son William and the mother of his children Michelle.  His mother Diane Ross and Step Father Daniel Ross of Newport, his father Robert Booth Sr and his wife Rachel of Irasburg.  His sister Cathy Williams, her husband Dave Williams, his nephew Christopher and niece Andrea and her husband Evann Craig of PA.  He was affectionately known to them as Uncle Bebob.  He also leaves behind 2 half- brothers Michael Booth and his wife Jessica of Irasburg, Shawn Booth and his wife Renee of Irasburg.  He will be greatly missed by his step siblings that he grew up with:  David Ross and his wife Holly of North Troy, Heidi Broe and her husband Daniel of Derby Line, Heather Piette and her husband JD of Colchester and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He leaves a big hole in our lives and hearts and ask that all of you who wish to celebrate his life with us join us on Wednesday October 7 th , 2020 at the Curtis- Britch & Bouffard Funeral Home, 37 Lake Road, Newport.  Calling hours will be from 12 until 2 where a Masonic Rite and Military Honors are going to be included in the service.
