Robert H. Bowles Sr. of Springhill, Fl. (formally of Flint) age 89 Saturday January 6, 2018 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Honoring Robert’s wishes cremation has taken place with private memorial service at later day. Bob was born in Flint, Michigan on May 5, 1928 the son of the late Horace and Zella (Purks) Bowles. Answering the call of his country Bob served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Bob was an avid golfer, and hunter. Robert leaves to cherish his memory his children: Bob (Sandy) Bowles Jr., Cheryl (Monty) Ross, and Kevin (Claudia) Bowles; grandchildren: Jennifer Bowles, Clayton Ross (Hannah), Stephanie Bowles (Roberto), Michelle Bowles Zigler (Patrick), and four great grandchildren.
