May you RIP Daddy

One year.tomorrow has gone by Bob. Still miss your smile and happy laughter. As you would say “carry on”. Tally-ho, later.

Mr. Bromert was extremely impacted in my early years. He was an awesome coach and teacher. He always had great advice and guidance. He will be missed . My condolences

There are so many memories of Bob that it would take a book to write them all down. Bob and Liz were my neighbors first, then became my friends. Friends that became treasures. We go back 53+ years of love and laughter, wow so much joy with Bob. He loved his family, his neighbors, his community, Saint Thomas More Parish. He had so much love and respect for everyone. He always had a joy in him that he shared with everyone he came in contact with . He loved his yard digging around,...

Our respective mothers were sisters, so the Singsanks and Bromerts were always together growing up in Carroll, Iowa. Colonel was always a leader, outgoing and friendly. He was an avid hunter. It was not unusual for him to stop by our house with one or two cleaned and ready to eat pheasants saying ENJOY. He was a great athlete in high school (wrestling and football). After high school, he headed off to Loras College (all male, Catholic). Following his lead, four of us went to Loras. A...

We were deeply saddened to hear about Bobby’s passing. He was a remarkable individual with a gift for connecting with our families on Lakewood and the corner, evident in his rich tapestry of experiences and the warmth he exuded.

Bobby's dedication to his family, friends, and neighbors and active involvement in casual conversations, dinners, and chats exemplify what a neighbor is. We loved and will miss his stories and humor. We grew up with Bobby and Elizabeth, and we have...

Heartfelt condolences to Zach and family. We met when his son Zach became a member of BSA Troop 2. Most of the other scouts knew him as their coach in Middle School and he was always a valuable asset to our Troop. The world could use a lot more men like him.

Bob (Colonel to me) was a great friend. I first met him in 1957 when we became classmates at Kuemper Catholic High /school. There were many school activities (football, class leadership programs, etc.) that I valued being a part of with Colonel. We spent many evenings socializing at his home with his parents and sisters. SPECIAL MEMORY--Colonel was the king of the Junior-Senior Prom.
