I first met Brown thru our family where he work ..he was a gentleman..never had a bad word to say about any one..was alot of fun to be around ..could make u laugh..he will be missed dearly..RIP.. Anna Tielking

Wonderful grandfather and also a wonderful hard working man. A blessing to call you my grandfather definitely will be missed doesn’t even feel real I love you so much daddy( papa)

Robert's Obituary

Graveside service for Robert Wade Brown of Athens, Alabama will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Garrett Cemetery (Belle Mina, Alabama) with Pastor Michael Timberlake officiating. The body will lie in state at Peoples Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. on the day of the service. 

Public viewing will be held at the Peoples Funeral Home on Friday, March 6, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
