I have very fond memories of Marty and Karla visiting family in North Carolina. I remember the fun summer trips to Emerald Isle and the quaint little beachfront Oak Grove motel where Karla and Marty, friends of the motel owner Stan, would be rewarded with the best (upstairs) room on the property. Marty was always a dear in spite of my two rambunctious little boys pestering him and Karla to play cards or just hang out with them in their room when everyone had come in from a day on the...

Marty was a kind and gentle man whom it was a privilege to know. His creative work of motion that hangs I my kitchen will be an inspirational reminder of him.
