Not sure what to say?

I just learned today of Bob's passing. He was an inspiration to me as a hiker, even in his upper 80s, out there with us on Saturday mornings at Eagle Creek Park with his knee replacements. His weightlifting accomplishments were impressive to hear about. He was friendly and enjoyable to talk with, and he was clearly proud of his children and grandchildren. My sincere sympathies to his family.

My cousins Bob and Tom visited my dad, Harry A. Wolfe regularly in his nursing homes, always bringing him Longs Bakery doughnuts. Dad enjoyed those visits so much. Thank you, Tom, for letting me know of Bob’s passing. He was always so active. I’m sorry. You have not just lost a brother, but a true friend.
Condolences to you all,
Your cousin Diane

So very sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I was just this evening, Sunday March, 9th, looking at powerlifting records and saw Bob's impressive national and international level performance. A google search on Bob lead me to this website. Ironically, my father, who lives about 45 minutes from Indianapolis, is next in rank behind Bob. Imagine that, two of the country's greatest lived in such close proximity. I have been powerlifting for over 42 years and just wanted to pay my respects to Bob...

I can only shed tears and prayers. My love for my brother is for ever.

What an amazing life. Uncle Bob always showed up. It didn’t matter where we lived - Indiana, Michigan, Louisianahe came to all of the graduations and weddings. He always told me how great my kids are and what a wonderful job I did raising them. He was active and had many adventures. He touched our lives and I am thankful.

Uncle Bob always had a way of showing up for his people. Hundreds of miles across country never stopped him! He will truly be missed!
