Robert J. Dufour, Sr. , 78, of Pelham, NH, passed away on March 9, 2026 after a brief illness.Born on October 9, 1947 in Goffstown, NH, son of the late Norman Dufour, Sr., and the late Katherine (Jenning) Dufour.He grew up in Manchester, NH, and attended Manchester Central High School, graduating with the Class of 1966. He served in the Air Force as a mechanic, and continued his career as a diesel mechanic until his early retirement.Robert had a deep passion for working on cars and mowing the lawn. He had a very strong Christian faith and was an avid reader of the Bible. His greatest joy; however, was spending time with his family on Long Pond in Pelham.Robert is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, JoAnne Dufour, his children, daughter Christine Dufour, son Robert Dufour, Jr. and his wife Meghan Dufour, daughter Leanne Parent and her husband David Parent, daughter Elizabeth Belanger and her husband Eric Belanger, stepdaughter Heather Michie and her partner Brian McKenna and stepson Ryan Michie and his wife Sara Michie. He is also survived by his sister, Judy Bouldry. Robert also leaves 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his brother, Norman Dufour, Jr. and grandson, Kyle Grikscheit.A private burial and "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date this summer.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital.The Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH has the honor of assisting the family.For more information visit: www.connorhealy.com.
