EATON, Robert – Mr. Robert Eaton at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday February 24, 2017 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Shirley (née Webster) Eaton. Loved father of Karen Desrosiers (René) and Paul Eaton (Lynne). Sadly missed by his 4 grandchildren Melanie Bennett (Marc), Amanda Bingley, Liam and MacKenzie Eaton; and 2 great-grandchildren Caiden and Nathan. Predeceased by his parents William and Vivian (née James) Eaton. Robert was a member of Masonic Order, Lodge No. 669. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, where visitation will be held on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of service. Funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home on Saturday March 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment at a later date in Salem United Church Cemetery, Summerstown, Ontario. If so desired, contributions to in his memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children (by cheque or online at www.shrinershospitalsforchildren.org/locations/canada) would be appreciated by the family.
