Not sure what to say?

Bob will be so missed for all his love that he gave his family and friends . He was an usher in my Wedding in 1959 He took care of my Mom in his nursing home. Always there for me thru all the years. Sorry I wasn't there for funeral I just found out today that he had passed away or I would have gladly say good-bye .We did talk about a month ago so glad for that. Condolences to all who will miss you. Love Always Joan

I am so heartbroken over the loss of Bob. What a wonderful man in every role he played in his special family. I will truly treasure every conversation and memory with him. Incredible whit, wisdom, and bravery. I feel incredibly lucky to have been involved in his journey, and he mine. So much love to all members of his family, especially Denise who loved him fiercely and was his rock through everything. You will always be remembered fondly and missed so deeply, Bob.

My condolences to Debbie, Robbie, and the rest of his family. It was due to Bob's encouragement that I finally went to nursing school. I was then able to be there for his mother in her final days. After Falmouth Manor Bob went on to open Fallbrook Woods, a great facility that allowed so many to age with dignity. His zest for life and his devotion to the elderly will be greatly missed.

So very sorry to hear of Bobs passing. He was truly a wonderful man who was loved by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.

Feeney Family did lose a great guy this week. Good friend, neighbor, host. Our prayers go out to the entire family. Loved those scallops on the deck! Can't be beat!! God bless!

Our deepest sympathy to the Feeney family for the loss of Bob. He was a good man with a ready smile for everyone he encountered never letting on that he was in pain toward the end of his life, that's courage, integrity, and a life well lived.
He will be missed by all who knew him, may he rest in peace.

Robert's Obituary

SCARBOROUGH - Robert J. Feeney, 78, passed away on August 6, 2019 at home surrounded by his family and dear 4-legged friend, Suzie, listening to the sound of the ocean.  Robert was born in York, ME on November 6, 1940.  He was the son of Joseph and Lucy Feeney. Robert grew up on India Street in Portland, Maine. As a child he was a devoted member of his church serving as an altar boy and went on to graduate from Portland High School in 1959, later attending the University of Southern Maine. He then worked at Portland Welding and Portland Copper and honorably served in the U.S. Military for 8 years.

He always had a memory to share about his time working at 3M, Director of the Miss Maine Pageant, and his 2 terms served with the Falmouth Town Council.  He was a proud member of the Portland Jaycees for 8 years and was committed to serving his community.

Anyone who knew Robert knew how hardworking he was. A great deal of his life was devoted to serving the elderly. He loved sharing stories about his first business venture as CEO of Falmouth Manor, but always considered founding Fallbrook Woods to be his greatest legacy and accomplishment. He will be remembered as a compassionate man who considered it vital to empower his employees with the wisdom, they needed in order to succeed in the healthcare industry.

Robert cherished his family and valued his time with them more than anything. He loved the ocean and Little Diamond Island, tinkering with appliances, beating everyone at checkers, and pretending he was good at golf.

Robert is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Denise, who never left his side and devoted herself to caring for him in his final days; his children Debora Beaulieu and her husband Steven; Robert P. Feeney; Cassandra Therriault and her husband Colby; Nichole Lessard and her husband Ron; Joshua Sweetser and his wife Jessica; his grandchildren Athena Winsor and her husband Eric; Cory Beaulieu and wife Kayla; Peter Hayes; Brody Sweetser; and Charlotte Therriault; and two greatgrandchildren Landyn and Elijah. He is also survived by his former wife and lifelong friend, Valerie Feeney; his brother Joseph Feeney and wife Anna; Charles Feeney and wife Sue; his sister Marion York and husband Lloyd; and predeceased by his sister Joan LeClair.

His family is going to miss him so much and is endlessly thankful to the friends and family who were unconditionally loyal to him.
