Not sure what to say?

I got to know Bob over the past couple of months as my dog Gracie and I spent time with him on pet therapy visits. What usually are short visits became multiple hour discussions as I very much enjoyed reminiscing about the past - baseball, game shows, his experiences in Manhattan, etc. - and time just flew. I am greatly saddened of the news of his passing, but am comforted by the fact that he was in good spirits in those final few visits. I just wish I had met him years ago. I will miss him.
