Not sure what to say?

We have known Nelson for the past five years as our neighbor and friend. Nelson’s love of gardening was apparent from the first time we met. We also like to work in the yard so we shared many common interests. We talked about trees and shrubs, the grass, and how the weather was affecting our plants. He was a good family man, a nice neighbor and friend who always had a friendly heart and spirit. We’d like to think that his love of gardening will continue comfortably in heaven and will miss him...

We send our sincere sympathy at Nelson's passing. Our prayers are with all the family, for the comfort and peace of God's perfect love.

Betty and family, I am so sorry to hear of Nelson’s passing. We are so grateful we had the opportunity to know and love Nelson. I imagine he is taking care of God’s garden while his old friend, Senator Byrd is playing his fiddle. We send love and prayers to everyone who was touched by his life. Pam and (Walter)

I have great childhood memories of Nelson, whether walking with Betty Lynn, Steve and Glenn through the cemetery next to Mama Ada’s house or building forts at Aunt Louise’s or getting my dad, Lee Roy and his mom, Aunt Betty to tell stories of their youth. They are memories that fill my heart with joy. I am thankful that God blessed my life with him. He was a fine man and although I often wish that the busy life we chose wouldn’t have kept us from not spending more time together and will...

Nelson Harbor my best friend from way back in El Paso Texas.
I meet Nelson at Putman elementary school. We were always friends.
Even when Nelson and family moved to the Washington DC aera we still continued to contact each other, and I was able to visit Nelson and his family. The last visit was summer of 2018.
Nelson will always be on my mind and one thing I do know is he is in heaven.
Nelson you will be missed not only by me but many other friends and family.

Where do I began, I've had the privilege of working with Nelson over the past year and that man was incredible . He was my friend and hanging out with him did not feel like a job, it was a complete pleasure. He was the nicest person I've ever known. We laughed a lot, he got me in trouble with his mom(lol), he taught me a lot about gardening(the only time in my life I've been able to keep plants alive) and he always had my back no matter what. He knew I loved him and he loved me. I am going to...
